One. Sign up for a LogMeIn ID
Go to
LogMeIn.com and sign up for a LogMeIn ID. Follow the
on-screen instructions.
Two. Install LogMeIn.
From the computer you want to access (the one that will eventually be
"somewhere else"), log in at
LogMeIn.com, click
Download (or
Add Computer) and follow the on-screen
instructions. You've just installed LogMeIn.
Three. Connect anywhere, anytime.
Leave your computer powered on and connected to the Internet.
You are ready to connect from almost any device.
Connect from a PC or Mac
- On a different computer, go to LogMeIn.com and log in with your LogMeIn ID and password.
- On the Computers page, click the computer you want to control.
- Log in with your computer user name and password.
- That's it. You're in two places at once.
Connect from a phone or tablet
Download the LogMeIn app to your Android or iOS device and connect.
