Securing your LogMeIn Remote Environment

Controlling your LogMeIn Implementation with the LogMeIn Administrative Template

Use the LogMeIn Administrative Template (logmein.admx) to control several aspects of the LogMeIn host's behavior on Windows computers within your network in an Active Directory environment, both at the Computer and User level.

How Does it Work?

The LogMeIn Administrative Template is a Group Policy snap-in that you use to govern LogMeIn host behavior.

The template is applied at the network level. When the host software detects the presence of LogMeIn policies, it will use these settings first, then apply preferences configured elsewhere (for example, via LogMeIn Central Host Preference Packages).

Tip: On Windows 7 and Server 2008R2 Computers and above, both .admx and .adml files are required.
Important: Unlike LogMeIn Central Host Preference Packages, the LogMeIn Group Policy Administrative Template can only be applied to computers on your network.
